Panther POS is supported and tested on Samsung Tab A8, Tab S6 Lite, and Tab S8. You’ll need to purchase one of these models to get full support from NRS Panther.
To run NRS Panther POS, use an Android tablet meeting these minimum requirements:

While Panther POS may function on other devices, we cannot guarantee full support beyond our recommended models. For the ideal experience, choose hardware we’ve tested and approved, such as Samsung Tab A8, Tab S6 Lite, and Tab S8.
We recommend using a powered USB hub to connect devices like receipt printers, cash drawers, and barcode scanners. The hub should have at least two ports. Simply connect compatible devices like printers and scanners to the tablet, and they will automatically install and be ready to use. You can purchase accessories, including the Panther Accessory Pack, from the NRS Marketplace.
You can purchase supported tablets from any vendor without a long-term hardware commitment. You can switch compatible devices at any time. Download the NRS Panther app, log in, and use the POS. To simultaneously use multiple Panther checkout tablets in your store, you must obtain a separate license subscription for each. The tablets will sync together for convenient, consolidated reporting.

- Set up your NRS POS & Pay account for integrated processing.
- If you currently already have an active NRS POS and NRS Pay, your Panther(s) can be a perfect complementary add-on to your existing system.
- Download the NRS Panther app from the Google Playstore.
